The.XS Collective is a Singapore-based independent HipHop label. The foundation of the label is based on a united body of hiphop activists driven towards a positive elevation of self through music and arts.

Built on the central core of unity, music was largely the direction of the collective. With this in mind, we are more than just a record label managing artists. We move as one family.

HipHop is the core medium of choice. And, the experimental approach of our artists allows us to expand our limits and bind with the oneness of music, arts and humanity.

The growth and progression of the label lies heavily on independent projects and promotions. Currently, The.XS Collective is home to a roster of hiphop acts that have built support within the region. With the talent, passion, and management, we develop and showcase our artists at the forefront of the regional urban music industry and also connect globally on an international level.

Formerly known as As.One The Regiment or As.One Family, the collective have been occasionally contributing to the regional hiphop circuit since 2000 with their ever-changing line-up of artists, through performances and independent releases.

By circa 2004-2005, the collective suffered a blow of faded energy and enthusiasm as several acts started to dissolve or became defunct. But the movement carried on with the remaining members

In the late 2005, a poetic hiphop unit called the X'Scapists was established to breathe  a new hope to their artistic activism. Eventually this culminated into the reformation of the entire collective, now called XS.One The Regiment.

In 2007, the rhyme regiment solidified their presence as a "d-i-y spirited" independent label with the release of thier compilation project "School For X'Scape Artists".  Re-introducing a fresh and rejuvenated stable of "X'Scape Artists", the project heralded a breathe of optimism for the Singapore hiphop scene which is still below the radar even until today

Following the local success of the compilation release, the artist line-up began making moves as groups and individuals respectively in local events and releasing independent music.

With the rejuvenation of XS.One The Regiment, scattered lyrical minds regroup as a united nation of an elite force in rap. The.XS collective will continue to spread their movement through their music and propagation of their brand of hiphop and artistic activism.

Expansion of the line-up of groups, individuals and collaborative affiliates within the collective will constantly be in the works as induction of experience artists as well as fresh young talents will hopefully contribute to further expand their movement with a diverse pool of talents.

The.XS collective also plans to further expand their craft and movement via other forms of artistic expression such as literary works and visuals through arts and design.

The foundation of the collective still strongly revolves around poetry, lyricism, hiphop and music thus expect to hear more from XS.One The Regiment through various upcoming musical projects and collaborative efforts as well as live performances from groups and individuals from The.XS Collective.
